TF31 Scholastic Achievement Awards

The Task Force 31 Scholastic Achievement Awards are non-annual awards which means the awards listed below can be submitted at anytime during the calendar year. These awards are for individual members assigned to chapters that are associated with Task Force 31.

MCCOY ORDER OF MERIT

Criteria:

Awarded by the Task Force 31 Commander to any task force member who has received official and accredited medical certifications.

There are four levels for this award, with each level having a specific attachment device:

4th Class – Red 5 Pointed Star – CPR Certified & Nurses Aides
3rd Class – Blue 5 Pointed Star – EMT & Medics
2nd Class – White 5 Pointed Star – LPN & RNs
1st Class – Black 5 Pointed Star – MD and PA

Green White and Green with a Gold Border


OFFICERS TRAINING SCHOOL

Criteria:

Awarded to a Task Force 31 member who successfully completes OTS

Ribbon Description:

Maroon Red


OFFICER COMMAND COLLEGE  

Criteria:

Awarded to a Task Force 31 member who successfully completes OCS.

Ribbon Description:

Maroon Red with a silver 4pt star device


FLAG OFFICER SCHOOL  

Criteria:

Awarded to a Task Force 31 member who successfully completes all four (4) FOS courses.

Maroon Red with a gold 4pt star device











SCHOLASTIC EXCELLENCE AWARD

Criteria:

This award is presented each term to Task Force 31 members who are students that demonstrate Scholastic Excellence by making the school honor roll or deans list for any one quarter of an academic year for students in Elementary through High School and any semester of an academic year for students in college. A copy of the report card/record is required.

There are four levels for this award, with each level having a specific attachment device:

  • 4th Class – Elementary (Red 5 Pointed Star)
  • 3rd Class – Middle School (Blue 5 Pointed Star)
  • 2nd Class – High School (White 5 Pointed Star)
  • 1st Class – College (Black 5 Pointed Star)

RICHARD DAYSTROM ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE  

Criteria:

This award is presented annually to Task Force 31 members who complete the school year with a grade average of A’s or B’s. A copy of the students report card/record is required.

There are four levels for this award:
  • 4th Class – Elementary (Red 5 Pointed Star)
  • 3rd Class – Middle School (Blue 5 Pointed Star)
  • 2nd Class – High School (White 5 Pointed Star)
  • 1st Class – College (Black 5 Pointed Star)

SILVER STAR OF ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT  

Criteria:

This award is presented annually to Task Force 31 members who graduates in the top ten percent (10%) of his/her graduating class.

Eligibility is limited to only
  • 3rd Class – Middle School (Blue 5 Pointed Star)
  • 2nd Class – High School (White 5 Pointed Star)
  • 1st Class – College (Black 5 Pointed Star)
